I have been trading with Tsubot and the Tsunami software for about one year (since January, 2009). I trade the emini S&P futures almost exclusively and have been extremely happy with the results and consistency of winning trades from Day One.
After installing the software, I back-tested several time frames. For my trading style, I chose the 6250 share chart and use a 5 minute time frame on a separate monitor as an ‘anchor’ chart. Trading the 6250 in the same direction as the 5 minute chart works extremely well, especially on more volatile days. My daily target of 3 S& P points is met nearly every day that I trade, usually within the first 2-3 trades.
I have purchased 2 other programs in the past and have tested several others, but none have come close to the consistent success of Tsubot. The entries are excellent; managing the trade becomes much less subjective with clearly indicated profit targets and protective stops.
The biggest challenge for me after installing the software was developing the confidence that a ’mechanical’ program so simple and straightforward could be consistently successful. That changed after a couple weeks of paper trading, then live trading concluding that the system was SOLID. I had to clear my head in thinking that multiple indicators, charts and countless moving average lines were necessary
Even though I have been using the system for some time, I often have John G.’s training room turned on in the background. John does an excellent job and the repetition helps keep me focused and disciplined.
I am committed to using the software and would highly recommend it.
