A daytrading simulator is an excellent way to learn this trading software, because you are learning to trade Forex with a hands on approach. (they have a 25% off sale at the moment, don’t know how long it will last)
Most people learn best while actually doing, instead of listening. A daytrading simulator is actually called a Forex demo account.
The only way you can try out a daytrading simulator is to open a free Forex demo account at the sites who offer them. Some make you go through a very long process just to open up the account. I guess they are in the hope that when you feel comfortable to start trading with real money, they’ll already have most of your information.
Also, some say that they are free, but they’re not if they want some kind of deposit before you can get to the hands on learning. I’ve visited numerous sites that tell me the simulator is free, and after I go through many questions, I get to the next page just to find they are wanting my CC#.
Since you don’t know yet if Forex trading is for you, go ahead and open a forex demo account with the companies that don’t want your life history first, or any of your money. Then, if you feel good about the company, and its customer service, then spend some time signing up with them.
Be sure to thoroughly investigate the company’s policies and its fine print. You want to look for the one’s who will pay you your money upon demand. Believe it or not, some of these crooked Forex sites will withhold your money for a period of time, per its policy. That’s not a very good practice for any business.
